UO Enigma – Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to UO Enigma! To ensure a fun and fair experience for everyone, we ask that all players adhere to the following rules and guidelines. UO Enigma is a passion project, built and maintained in our free time. Please respect that.

These rules are subject to change, so please stay updated.

1. Fair Play

• No Cheating or Exploiting: Exploiting bugs, map glitches, or using third-party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly forbidden. Items or advantages gained this way will be removed, and accounts may be banned or deleted.
• Account Limit: Max 2 accounts per player. Extra accounts will be deleted without warning.
• No Account Sharing: Accounts must remain private. Sharing may result in cheating or loss of access.
• No Griefing: Includes ghost scouting, offensive names, blocking with items, and harassment.

2. Game Conduct

• Follow In-Game Mechanics: Don’t modify files or use unsupported clients.
• No Spamming: No repetitive chat or disruptive messages.
• PvP Conduct: PvP is encouraged but must remain fair. Multi-client PvP is not allowed.

3. Community Interaction

• Report Issues: Report bugs, exploits, or misconduct to staff immediately.

4. Staff Interaction

• Respect the Staff: Harassment of staff will not be tolerated.
• No Impersonation: Pretending to be staff results in an immediate ban.

5. AFK Gathering / Unattended Gameplay

• Unattended resource gathering is allowed with macros/scripts, but you must be at your PC. Staff may test this at any time.
• Violations: May result in jailing, wipes, or permanent bans.

6. Character & Pet Naming Guidelines

• No offensive, racist, hateful, or sexually explicit names. Repeat offenders may face account bans.

7. Griefing

• Includes shrine blocking, ghost scouting, verbal harassment, or trapping players unfairly.

8. Consequences

• Staff decisions range from warnings to bans depending on severity.
• You may appeal any punishment, but staff decisions are final.

We want UO Enigma to be a fun and immersive world. Play fair, be kind, and help keep the community great.

Note: Enigma staff cannot recover lost items, pets, points, or deleted characters/accounts.
